Well today was a great day for my dr appt ladies, and alot of you are asking how I am doing this diet so I will tell it.
First off I have to loose weight for one i am fat, two I want to live to see my kids grow old and three my blood pressure is very high and the weight is making it worse. TODAY at clinic my bp was the best it has been in over a year 126/82. My dr about fell off her chair when she read the weight results, she made me stand up and hug her and just went on and on.. I have went down 24.2 lbs in 3 weeks and 4 days and clinic record is 5w 21 lbs so YAYY I hold the record!
So the diet is YES I am on adipex-p 37.5mg once a day, all it is a appetite suppresant so I never want to eat. I watch EVERYTHING that I buy and put in my mouth down to my chewing gum.
Now the dr put me on a 1200 calorie diet but then called the next day to tell me my tryglcycerides were high and to lay off anything white(bread, milk, taters, rice etc) and i thought I would DIE, them are my faves!
SOOO after talking with my dad who lost TONS of weight fast i decided to put the pills WITH the atkins diet. Ladies it is EASY. Basically I eat three things... MEAT, EGGS, AND CHEESES.
You can have up to 20 carbs a day but I am lucky if I put 10 in my body. you do this for a couple weeks of NO CHEATING and your body goes into ketosis, now mind you ketosis is not good if you are diabetic but for low carb dieters it wont hurt you. Once you go into that yu just add a few carbs, I am in ketosis now but still didnt add the carbs(bad I know but my choice).
Yes I am sick to death of meat, you can have ANY meat basically and grill it or bake it. I have found things to eat like chicken in a can with mayo(no carbs in mayo) that something fast but no bread! If you crave something sweet once in awhile sugarfree jello (0 carbs) and a tablespoon of cool whip(1 carb) does the trick. So like for dinner tonight..cube steak(eat all u want) green beans and I only eat a few like 5 beans LOL but 1/2 cup is 7 carbs and maybe some jello later. I chewed 2 peices of gum 1 carb each so u see i am FAR FROM my 25 I am now allowed.
I choose NOT to eat the carbs. IS this diet healthy, no probably NOT. You loose it fast and when you come off it if you go back to eating like you did yes it will come back on but another trick I have found is buy a smaller plate for you so when you go back to regular eating its mind of matter! If you fill your tiny plate up you will think you have TONS of food and be 'full' but if you take a normal dinner plate out and put a little food on it you make you rmind think your hungry..
Ok this is enough to start you, any questions ask. It is simple ladies and if I can do it anyone can. I am now from a size 18 pants to a 14 in less than month, how much motivation does one need????
